Álvaro Llanza

Álvaro Llanza with over 35 years’ experience in the equities market, began his career in the International Department of Banif, Madrid.
In 1989, together with 6 partners, he created Carnegie España where he led the sales team. In 1996, after being bought by Schroders, he took on the position of European product manager for the Spanish market for 5 years.
In 2001, Schroders was taken over by Citigroup and Álvaro set up Dux Inversores, managing a global European equities fund called “Fondo Selector“, which consistently beat its benchmark indexes for 8 years.
After a brief return to the “sell-side“ in 2010, he moved at Evo valores and JB Capital and joined Fidentiis Gestion in 2013 as co-manager of Iberian funds with Ricardo Seixas for 5 years.
In 2017, he launched the first SRI fund at Fidentiis Gestion, which was acquired by Bestinver Gestión in 2019, focussing on “megatrends” in European equities.
